About me
Passionate about fashion and lifestyle in my teens (I can’t leave home without my earrings “feel kind of naked”).
I used to craft my own accessories and crochet art that I ended up even selling some of them in my mom’s local shop.
I had the opportunity to meet and learn and work with different ethnic communities, understanding that good things take time and effort. Inspired by the history behind every mastership, I decided to create a fine collection of accessories combining my passion for fashion and traditional art.
OUR COLLECTIONS
OUR ARTISANS
Wounaan, Chocó
An ethnic community allocated at the basin of low San Juan, they are mostly nomad farmers and craft people, with deep knowledge in the art with the leaves of the Wérregue palm tree, considered as the finest basketry in the country.
With very high standards, fabulous details and impressive figures of plants and animals, this kind of art constitutes a colourful element in the final product.
Wayuu, Guajira
A colourful and traditional community that understands, interprets, and represents life with fabric that tells stories through symbols and hundreds of colours.
Kanas is the highest expression of Wayuu weaving. This ancient art is based on weaving geometric figures that represent natural elements such as animals, plants, and stars. A sense of belonging in the art.
Kametsa, Sibundoy
A community rich in creativity. Their art is the result of their deep connection with nature. Making crafts, such as handles, key chains, necklaces, and rings, starts from the youngest ages.
There is a meaning to everything they create. In other words, they do not only live through art economically, but art is also a part of their lives, their language, and their unique way of telling a story.
